How to Get Info About Plan Annual Notice of Change in 2020
August 10, 2020 | Todd Lewison
Each fall, everyone who is in a Medicare plan will receive an important document in the mail – a Plan Annual Notice of Change.
What is a Plan Annual Notice of Change (ANOC)?
An ANOC is a Plan Annual Notice of Change. Your current Medicare Advantage will send you a Plan Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) each fall. An ANOC generally includes information about changes in costs, coverage, or service area that will become effective the following January after you receive the ANOC. This helps you plan ahead for the year if there are any changes to your Medicare or medication costs. We have a blog on our website dedicated to ANOC if you would like more information – “What is an ANOC and What Do I Need to Know About it?”
How Do I Get Info About ANOC?
Most of the information about your specific plan will come in the ANOC document you receive. However, this document can be hard to understand. Twin City Underwriters will be hosting ANOC Meetings in October. These virtual meetings are on the individual insurance companies to go over the changes for 2021. Agents will review and discuss plan changes, so you know exactly what changes to expect and how to prepare. These meetings are completely free and are part of our SurePlan® standard of excellence.
