Third is the Annual Review: Is the plan you picked last year still the right plan for you? Maybe your needs have changed, and we need to look at other Medicare options. Every year from October 15- December 7, it is the Annual Election Period (AEP). During this time, you have the opportunity to change your plan if necessary. If you do nothing, your Medicare plan will automatically renew the next year. Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare Part D plans change every year – we like to ensure that the plan you choose fits your lifestyle needs.
